ADRA Bangladesh Signs MoU with the Department of Youth Development
ADRA Bangladesh, a non-governmental humanitarian organization, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Youth Development, under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in Bangladesh. The MoU was signed on 4th April 2024 at the Department of Youth Development headquarters in Dhaka.
The MoU will facilitate a partnership between ADRA Bangladesh and the Department of Youth Development to work together towards achieving common goals related to youth development. The partnership will focus on promoting and implementing programs that will empower young people, develop their skills, and provide them with opportunities for growth and development.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organizations, including the Director-General of the Department of Youth Development, Dr. Gazi Md. Saifuzzaman, and the Country Director of ADRA Bangladesh, Seunghwan Allan Shin. Speaking at the ceremony, the Country Director of ADRA Bangladesh expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with the Department of Youth Development. He emphasized the importance of empowering young people in the country and how this partnership will help to achieve this goal.
The Director-General of the Department of Youth Development also expressed his appreciation for the partnership, stating that it will help to promote the development of young people in the country. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and non-governmental organizations in achieving common goals related to youth development.
This MoU is a significant step towards addressing the challenges faced by young people in Bangladesh and providing them with opportunities to thrive.
